This last week on Saturday he joined the church and was baptized :o) What a sweet day that was and wonderful to see the fruits of the labor for a missionary.
Finally the special day is here ;o)
Søster Ludlow, Søster Holbrook, Mads and Søster Nelson.
The week was full of great times. They had a chance to have dinner with BOTH their Grandparents in the Church in Copenhagen. What a fun treat that was :o).
I LOVE this Sister Missionary.
Three BEAUTIFUL women inside and out!!
Morfar and Mormor.. I miss them LOTS.
Morfar, "MILLE" and Mormor. LOVE ALL three of these people deep in my heart!
Both sets of Grandparents and our Sister Missionaries ;o)
Email from Søster Holbrook this week:
Hey everyone!
MADS WAS BAPTIZED!!!! It was such a special experience! He is so happy and grateful and really just a whole new person! One of his friends that he invited was crying the whole time and she told us "I want to be baptized. I feel like I am coming home." How cool is that?!? We gave her a Mormons Bog, and she's already started reading!!! Her name is P and she is so awesome. S also came to the baptism, and we are meeting with him on Thursday. We've definitely got our hands full this week!
Transfers are coming up! We get the transfer news on Saturday. I have been on Amager for six months now so anything can happen! I came across this scripture and couldn't help but think of transfers: "We have been driven out of the land of our inheritance; but we have been led to a better land." 2 Nephi 10:20. haha I hope to stay because this place is wonderful, but I don't think I would mind some change either. Either way, I trust in the Lord's plan for me. :)
This week we've been battling many forces trying to slow us down. It dumped snow, I crashed my bike TWICE, I tripped down some stairs at an investigators house, my bike broke, and about a thousand other small things but I honestly all I could think was: How wonderful is it to have an all knowing and caring and loving God that knows exactly how to lead us to be the best people we can be??

I'm learning lots (like don't walk down icy steps without holding on to the railing) and I am so happy! Why? Because I choose to be! :)
Thanks for the support!

What a week is has been for our sweet daughter. I am SO proud of her and the woman she is becoming. As parents we could not ask for more. She serves hard and plays hard ;o) We just love her so much. SIX months down and twelve more months to go!!
